The Kansas City Chiefs chose Grey in the fifth round, 162nd overall of the 2021 NFL draft. On May 13, 2021 he signed his four-year rookie deal. On Sunday Night Football, in Week 10, he scored his first NFL touchdown against the Las Vegas Raiders. As a rookie, he started one out of the sixteen games he appeared in. He completed with a touchdown and seven receptions for thirty-six receiving yards.
